Gowanus Inn & Yard - New York

Our location was stunning and incredible, next to a subway station. Also, we were able to visit a multi-purpose indoor arena, that was 1 km from the hotel. The coffee bar was lovely with some nice food👌

Well, the views were awful here.

The double room in addition to the cable channels, facilities worked for us. An electronic key card, a work desk and a TV - very useful. The location was particularly good and fab - near restaurants and bars.

There were very good staff and rooms for a comfortable stay.

Clean place & accommodating and sweet staff. Airy and unique room, exceptionally comfortable bed. Affable staff, easy check-in and nice bar. Brilliant setting in the nice area, so close to Brooklyn, Manhattan, many restaurants.

The room is small but has everything you need for a short stay. It is very bright, modern and (at least my room) has extraordinary views. The common area is very pleasant, it also has light and is very well decorated.

Next to a subway stop that takes you directly to downtown Manhattan. Minimalist rooms just for sleeping, that's all you need. Super comfortable mattress.

The one that has chosen the sink tap does not have many lights because it is so long that the jet almost falls on the edge of the sink and being fixed it does not leave you room to manoeuvre. If you try to wash your face all the water falls out. The shower isn't a treat either, but even if some water comes out, if you're careful it's not that bad.

A solid choice! The rooms were spacious, and the unique nearby eateries offered delicious local cuisine. Be mindful of the air conditioning-it can turn off unexpectedly at night. For a better experience, consider bringing snacks since there's no mini fridge.

The water would come out of the shower and puddles would form in the bathroom. The design of the bathroom made it impossible to approach the sink to wash your face or teeth because you bumped into the cupboard.

The room was too small and rainwater was coming in through a window.

The location is very good. The price is reasonable.

I didn't like that the rooms were too small and every time someone opened a door the walls rumbled. I felt that it needed more cleaning. But on the whole it was good.

The bathroom has half a shower door so it leaves everything wet in the bathroom. Sink uncomfortable to use. General acoustics of the room are not noisy. Therefore when they do room cleaning you can hear everything.

The staff was very friendly. Every question I asked was answered promptly and kindly.

The cleaning of the common areas could be improved. And the lighting in the reception area should be improved.

location is perfect, with many restaurants within walking distance, as well as the R line of the subway. They change the sheets and towels daily. staff was quite friendly and willing to help. bed is very comfortable and curtains are dark, allowing for a good night's rest. Excellent for single or couple travelers.

The sink is very small and badly structured; the closet is also very small, it does not fit more than five pieces of clothes. All this attends to the minimalist style of the rooms, however, it is good to keep it in mind. There are no phones in the room to communicate if there is something wrong or to ask any questions. You should consider offering breakfast at extra cost.
